A cosy traditional stone built cottage just a 5 minute drive to the ferry to Mallaig on the Scottish mainland. Located in Ardvasar on the Sleat Peninsula, the Garden of Skye, the cottage has its own garden and off road parking. The Point of Sleat offers stunning views of Eigg and Rum and secluded coves with white sandy beaches.

With views to the front overlooking the garden furnishings include two comfortable sofas, a nest of tables and lamps, TV and a DVD player. There is also a bookcase with a good selection of DVD's, reading materials including books of local interest and visitors guides. The cottage has wifi.

Opening off the sitting room the kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven with a grill, a fridge, microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, etc. There is ample provision of cooking utensils and glass, crockery and cutlery. The kitchen also contains dining table and chairs.


The upstairs contains the bathroom with a whirlpool bath and the double bedroom.  There  is also a shower over the bath.

Please note that the cottage has a short but steep open wooden staircase(see photos). There is a handrail but please bear this in mind when booking.

The village benefits from a hotel/pub and at nearby Armadale you will find the Armadale – Mallaig ferry and a selection of craft shops, garage and shop with filling station as well as the famous Clan Donald Centre and Museum of the Isles. There are a range of hotels, bars and restaurants throughout the Sleat area. The local pub/hotel is 2 doors along.
